Aerospace engineering includes both aeronautic and astronautic engineers who research, design, develop, maintain and test the performance of aircraft, satellites and space vehicles.
As an aerospace engineer, your projects could include:
- Designing airplanes, helicopters and their component parts;
- Designing satellite phone technology so that data can be sent and received from remote areas;
- Working on shuttles destined for outer space.
Your work would:
- Allow for safer, smoother and more efficient air transport and space exploration, and improved communication across the globe.
